Emergency Relief Valve
Emergency Relief Valve is mounted on tanks with fixed roof for volatile liquids. It serves as a safety option, while relief valve is used as a normal outlet. Emergency Relief Valve functions on the principle of raising of the pallet (pallet consists of the cover, guide bar and the gasket) when the difference in pressure in the reservoir and the surrounding area occurs. After the effects of positive or negative pressure cease, pallet returns to its original position and tightly closes the vent.
EMERGENCY RELIEF VALVE DN 600 (pressure – vacuum)
Installing Emergency Relief Valves ensures the protection of the tank from explosion in cases of excessive pressure or vacuum.
Emergency Relief Valves are made of the material combination steel-aluminum, which prevents the occurrence of sparks. The gasket is made of rubber resistant to stored media. The choice of materials and the construction of valves provide long-lasting and safe operation with minimal maintenance.
The default setting of Emergency Relief Valve is 0.50 kPa pressure and 0.33 kPa vacuum, or on demand, as well as the choice of materials.
